United Mission to Nepal (UMN) is a faith-based development organisation which has been working in Nepal since 1954 with a vision of fullness of life for all in a transformed Nepali society.

What We Do
UMN runs two rural hospitals in Tansen (Palpa District) and Okhaldhunga, and works holistically across 10 other districts in four provinces through 14 local partner organisations.
Our thematic focus areas are Education, Health & Wellbeing, Livelihoods & Economic Transformation and Social Harmony & Protection. Across all our work, we integrate Gender Equality, Disability & Social Inclusion (GEDSI), Environmental Sustainability & Climate Resilience and Government & Civil Society Advocacy as cross-cutting priorities.
